Congratulations Daniel Six!!

We would like to congratulate Daniel Six on earning his LPC license! Daniel serves our behavioral health program in the North Central Region. Daniel graduated from Fairmont State University in 2008 with a B.S. in Psychology and in 2010 from Waynesburg University with a M.A. in Counseling. He spent the majority of his career working with young people (age 12-18) but has had the opportunity in recent years to work with adults, as well, which he says has been extremely fruitful and enjoyable. Daniel has a variety of mental health service experience having worked in a residential facility, various schools in WV and PA, outpatient clinics in WV and PA, and now adding another method of service delivery through his work with Home Base and delivering services in the home. Daniel says he took the long path to licensure as he didn't immediately pursue it out of grad school and began the process in 2020 after returning to the counseling profession after a 6-year break to teach conversational English online in about 30 countries. Between his two stints in counseling, he has been practicing for about 8 years. His professional interests include working with individuals with mood disorders and helping to break the stigma surrounding mental illness and its treatment. Daniel says he is looking forward to the next step in his journey as a professional counselor and continuing to grow his craft through his work at Home Base. We are glad to have you on board Daniel! Congratulations!!
