Andy Willett, Employee of the Month August 2026!

Homebase is proud to announce the winner of the Employee of the Month for August is Andy Willett from the Northern Panhandle Region!

I am honored to nominate Andrea (Andy) Willett for Supportive Counselor of the Month in recognition of her exceptional dedication, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to supporting our clients throughout their treatment journey.

Throughout the course of services, Andy has demonstrated a remarkable ability to build a trusting and supportive relationship while consistently reinforcing treatment goals across settings. Her collaboration with family members and myself has been instrumental in helping clients develop emotional awareness, communication skills, coping strategies, healthy boundaries, and greater self-confidence.

One of her greatest strengths has been her commitment to helping clients generalize therapeutic skills into daily life. She regularly reinforced coping skills, supported progress toward short-term goals, encouraged participation in exposure activities, and provided practical assistance in implementing interventions outside of formal therapy sessions.

In addition, Andy consistently demonstrated extraordinary patience, empathy, and professionalism while navigating complex family dynamics and emotional concerns. She helped facilitate communication between caregivers and me, promoted consistency of care, and provided a safe and supportive environment in which clients could explore difficult emotions, process interpersonal conflicts, and develop healthier patterns of interaction. Andy has also been consistently willing and able to communicate with me about client updates, ensuring that I remained informed and that care stayed coordinated and responsive to each client’s needs.

What most distinguishes Andy is her genuine dedication to the wellbeing of the youth we serve. Through advocacy, collaboration, creativity, and compassionate support, she has helped create lasting opportunities for growth and success. On several occasions, Andy drove an hour to a confirmed appointment, only to have the client decline to open the door—proof that she will literally go the extra mile for clients.

For these reasons, I wholeheartedly recommend Andy Willett for Supportive Counselor of the Month. Her commitment, professionalism, and positive impact make her exceptionally deserving of this recognition.
